Make cookie for longer than 2 weeks?

2 weeks is pretty short for the scenario that I'm the admin and I'm using the
MS locally. Maybe we can make it longer in that case, but retain a 2 week
limit for internet and other users? Or make it configurable through the UI?
It seems like I'm logging in a lot even though I check remember me. Maybe
there's another bug in this as well.
