Try for instance

This shows everyone's activity for a single day. Although this returns after
only a few seconds, it should be far faster given the modest amount of data it
returns.
Comments, tags, ratings all seem pretty snappy. It's "any activity" and
"uploading and editing" that are really bogging down.
