Wouldn't this go against the whole javascript based pattern we were trying to
achieve? Javascript developers are familiar with window.setInterval() and
window.clearInterval() rather than invoking this function in a global object.
Since in the context of the Mashup Server 'system' object is similar to the
browser's 'window' object, I think the present implementation is javascript
friendly and should be left as it is.
