Tyrell Perera commented on MASHUP-608:
--------------------------------------

Revision 14272 contains a potential fix to this, where a check box is presented
to the user in the dialog to overwrite the existing service. The backend
services were changed to handle this option. However this is not tested, since
it requires a destination server with a valid SSL certificate.

Yumani,
Can you please try to setup such a server instance and carry out a verification
test?

Sharing will fail with the following error message otherwise;

Failed to share the service. sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX
path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find
valid certification path to requested target

> When uploading a service to another server that has a service running under
> the same name, the sharing fails. It should offer an option to remove the
> remote service and replace it with this one.
