The first issue is due to the unusually long 'version' we have a the moment.
1.5-SNAPSHOT is pretty long and a production version will not have that many
characters.
The second issue 'can' be fixed, however it involves a long process of signing
the installation after performing a number of verifications and validations
mandated by microsoft. So it should be left as is. We also provide MD5 files
and associated signatures for a user to ensure the authenticity of a release
artifact, which is sufficient.
