[Mason] How to trace flow

Hi,
I'm working on a project which is using open source -> Request Tracker.  I was wondering how I can determine what code gets called when it is sent to the web server.  I'm still learning mason, so this would be a good learning experience.  I am able to modify the mason code which is presented to the user, but still unsure where to start to look on server side.
