Hi,

We use Log4perl mostly because it's almost exactly like log4j which we use in our Java apps. We've had great success with it in our mason apps. It takes some time to get the hang of it but once you do it's easy to use.

Hi,

MasonHQ and the mailing list mention logger support (log4perl/og::Dispatch) for Mason as "under development" or "proposed".

I'd like to use logging in some form for my Mason components and was wondering how far loggin support has matured or made it into the main source. Also I'd like to hear from anyone who used some form of logging with their tips and experiences?

If there is beta code, I'd be willing to test any new developments with my current webapp.
