This sounds like the most appropriate way to go.
If you are concerned about "%cleanup", you have a design problem,
because "%cleanup" functionality is (currently) very limited and (IMHO)
should be avoided. Your component may abort from many other various
reasons aside your "programmatic" trigger (the redirect).
Whenever you need a "cleanup" phase, use mod_perl's "register_cleanup" hook.
