Has anyone worked with Catalyst and Mason? What are you opinions?

I think they go very well together. However, as another noted, I'm
now using Mason to *just* do the templating - but it seems to work
very well.

Then why use Mason at all as *just* a templating system? If you are not going to use Mason's object system, I don't see the point. I would move to TT for just a templating system.

Or maybe I just don't see the point. :-)

Catalyst provides the MVC framework. Mason provides awesome templating ability, as well as its own object system. When I used Mason exclusively, I never used much of the object system, but used the templating functionality. I did use components and other elements to make the construction of the pages saner.

With Catalyst, it handles lots of the hard stuff I had been struggling to do easily with Mason. It just works. And, it works well with Mason. So why not use them together?

I personally don't like TT that much as it is yet another new language to worry about.
