I'm trying to set up mason on a new suse linux server using apache2 and I'm
running into the error shown below.
[Mason] Cannot resolve file to component:
/usr/share/apache2/error/HTTP_NOT_FOUND.html.var (is file outside component
root?) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/HTML/Mason/ApacheHandler.pm line
853.
It seems very odd that the Mason ApacheHandler.pm doesn't know about apache2
error files. My only configuration option is that specified in the Mason
test setup:
PerlModule HTML::Mason::ApacheHandler
<Location />
SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler HTML::Mason::ApacheHandler
</Location>
I have tried adding PerlModule Apache2::Const to httpd.conf, but this
doesn't help. My document root has been changed to /srv/www/htdocs but
otherwise I have a default configuration. Can anybody tell me how to get
Perl to know about the apache2 error files?
