We are upgrading from an ancient version (1.05) of Mason to the newest
version. We occasionally run into a bug where there is a syntax error
when compiling perfectly valid files. The syntax errors are all from
the file ending early. We think it is caused by a race condition in
where the second process reads the partial object file before the
first process which is making the object file has finished writing it.
Is there any locking in the newest version to prevent this?
