How can I access my external POP mail using IP Masq?

I have masquerading currently running on a 2.2.14 kernel (RedHat), two
NICs and DHCP, and everything works fine except accessing my isp's POP
mail from a client machine. I used the TrinityOS scripts to set this
up. How can I punch a hole through this firewall?

There does not appear to exist something like: /sbin/modprobe
ip_masq_pop or similar, which I suspect would work. Can someone
advise?
