/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! /* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */ Here is what's going on, i have 2 net interfaces, both on completely different subnets. default traffic goes through interface 1, while traffic specific to interface2's network uses it. i use an irc server on interface 2. whenever i try to dcc while using the server on interface 2 it screws up, because the traffic goes back to the client accross interface1, but with interface 2's source address. thus it promptly gets dropped by network1's ipspoof detecting routers. I have set up iproute2 to route all traffic with interface2's source address out interface2, but it doesn't seem to work for masqed connections. It swaps in interface's source address, then sends it out using the default routing table. does anyone understand what i'm talking about, or have any suggestions of what else i could look into?
