Hi Everybody,

I have been having problems with IP Masq lately. I have the IP Masq
box running Slackware 7.0 which I upgraded to 2.2.16 kernel. I connect
to the net using a 33.6 modem and I connect usually at 31200. I can
download files around 3kb/s from that box. When I am on a computer
behind the IP Masq box I can only get 1.5kb/s for some reason from one
download but I am able to start another download and get another
1.5kb/s. Is there a way to make IP Masq allow hogging of bandwidth?

My small network is like this:

486dx2-66 20meg ram Running Slackware. Doesn't have many progs
running. Has a DLink de220 nic

|
DLink Mini 5port hub
|
|
|
P133 running win95 - 24meg ram Has a DLink de220 nic

I use the following IP Chains rules:
ipchains -A input -p TCP --destination-port 1080 -i ppp0 -j REJECT
ipchains -A input -p icmp --icmp-type 8 -i ppp0 -j REJECT
ipchains -P forward DENY
ipchains -A forward -s 192.168.55.0/24 -j MASQ

I use the following modules:
insmod ip_masq_ftp
insmod ip_masq_irc
insmod ip_masq_raudio

I can download files that are on the 486 from the Pentium at around
900kb/s.. So its not my network cards that are the problem. I
would appreciate it if somebody could help me through this :)
