Yes, we have done this for our home network; however, it's sorta broken as
near as I can tell because of the following:

say that-
192.168.100.1 maps to 1.2.3.1
192.168.100.2 maps to 1.2.3.2

Then 192.168.100.1 can connect to 192.168.100.2, but *not* to
192.168.100.2, which should be the same thing. If that'll work for you,
I'll pull out my config.... But I'd *really* like somebody to show me how
to get it working properly.
