Sasha,
AFAIK, you don't need any modules to play Q3 through a masq'd box. I used to
have that legacy ip_masq_quake module, but then I removed it, and all my
hosts internally can still play on external servers.
What's even scarier, if you start a server inside your lan, people on the
outside can join right in! Now *that* freaks me out...
Cheers,
Will

Subject: [Masq] Quake III over IP Masq (Kernel 2.2)
/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting!
/* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */
Hello everyone,
Please help me configure an IP Masq system to support Quake III outgoing
connections.
I've done it according to the book, and everything else seems to work
fine - www, pop3, smtp, ftp etc.
I've tried downloading another version of ip_masq_quake from
freshmeat.net, but to no avail. Ialso tried appending 27960 port number
to the command line that loads the module.
I'm sort of new to this, so if I left out an important piece of
information, please point that out.
Thank you
Sasha
