I ran into a problem that I have solved, but it raised a question that I'd
like to find an answer for:

I was not able to receive QuickTime or RealAudio broadcasts via UDP. I fixed
that problem by allowing packets from my DSL modem through my firewall. I
believe this might be a security problem as a packet spoofing that address
would also get through. If this is true, can I use the modem's MAC address
as part of my ruleset and thus reduce the security risk?
