These are the outputs of the above commands
[root@localhost mex-with-objects]# ifconfig

The linux server is 192.168.233.1. The NT box is 192.168.233.3.
DNS servers from /etc/resolv.conf are:
nameserver 200.216.226.101 # ppp temp entry
nameserver 200.202.193.69 # ppp temp entry
Problems:
a) linux server side:
[root@localhost mex-with-objects]# ping 192.168.233.1

[root@localhost mex-with-objects]# ping 200.216.226.13

What is going on? What is this buffer space? Why do only two ip addresses
give such a problem?
b) guest (side)
When pinging some sites far away, I've got request time out
messages. Why?
Is there a way to increase the "time" of the request?
That is all! Thanks a lot.
regards
Eduardo
