/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! /* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */ Update: Well I tested the blocking of the micrsoft-ds port (445) for a while, and for a brief time it seemed to work. There were a few problems; one of the machines is Win2K Server (all the rest are pro), and it refused to connect to the external server without port 445. I have now reversed my theory that this problem is being caused by the new microsoft-ds. I have restricted SMB traffic to the external server to *only* port 445 (by blocking 138 & 139). And it is working without errors for about 20 minutes now... This only works since all of our clients are Win2K. If anyone has any ideas as to what is causing this please let me know. Thanks, Bob. _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
