Hello,
I am having problems with ftp using ip-masquarading.
My Server Box that connects to the net using dialup, is a Red Hat Linux 6.1
I am using vmware ver 2.0.2 to emulate a windows client, Windows 98 SE.
I have configured ip-masquarading using following,
ipchains -P forward DENY
ipchains forward -s 192.168.1.0/24 forward -j MASQ
as per Linux HOWTO
Though all services work like telnel,httpd from my client to the intenet,
I can also use ftp BUT, 'ls' command in ftp gives illegal Port.
using Passive & Active ftp both.
Any help / suggestions will be highly appreciated.
