/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! /* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */ Ok, sending our LAN topology picture ( sorry for this, but it helps for understanding the problem). So, problem: if game created by outside IP ( dialup for example ) & into this game come 2 LAN players ( 10.2.3.21 & 10.2.4.8 for example ), occures lag. If one of LAN players comes out of the game, lag disappears & everything ok. If all players are from the LAN, speed is ok - no lag. Another situation: if game created by LAN player, join can only LAN players ( outside IP can't join at all ) ...... this is set of problems. Usefull information: default gateway users 2.4.0 kernel bnetd runs on 2.4.0 kernel system also both servers users statefull NAT (iptables) bnetd is a Battle.net clone server, can be found at www.bnetd.org ( something like ex FSGS server, but better for us ;-) ) bnetd also has gametrans capability ( if needed more info, can send ) So, what solutions to solve above problems can be suggested ?
