You really should be asking this question on the netfilter emailing list
which you can find a link to at http://netfilter.samba.org 

But the long and short answer, is that for software that needs loose udp you
probably need to stay with kernel 2.2 and ipchains, until somebody releases
a loose udp patch for netfilter.

UDP patch is enabled in 2.4.x kernels or not ? Now we have problem if in 
game there are at least 2 players from LAN ( creator - outside IP ). Bnetd 
server is located in our LAN ( has own IP ); with port forwarding on 
gateway be can create games and outside players can connect. Bug lag 
problem still exists :((
Can you something to advise ?
