Hello everybody. I've read examples about setting the TCP and UDP
timeouts, doing like this:
ipchains -M -S 7200 10 160,
for example.
My problem is that I just cannot set the second timeout (controlling the
time after FIN arrives) to anything below two minutes.
I guess that perhaps that has something to do with TCP configuration,
but I'm completly lost. I am performing some massive number of
connection test through a host with IP MASQ, and it fastly runs out of
ports to be used because they are all waiting for these 2 minutes
timeouts to finish.
I'm using Linux kernel 2.2.17.
