Hello:
I am running kernel 2.4x and using ipchains to control access between two
internal subnets and the Internet.
I would like to port forward to one of the internal addresses but am not
sure which tool to use.
I have read the How To and am, well, still confused. If I am running 2.4, do
I need a third party tool (e.g., ipportfw?) or is this built into the
kernel? If I want to use the "built in" functionality, do I have to use
iptables?
Thanks.
nme
P.S. Not new to networking or port-forwarding; just new to Linux.
