I have 1 linux box (RH7.0) and 1 win98 box..
The linuxbox is connected to the internet with an isdncard.  My goal is to 
connect the win98 to the internet through the linuxbox.

I have gone through the howto and done what it says,with no luck

FACTS:   
*  "Ping" from win98 finds the linuxbox and visa versa, but not out on the 
internet.
*  Ping from the linuxbox works out on  the internet.  Network-card and 
cabling is OK.
* rc.firewall script is started via rc.local.
*  The rc.firewall script copied as it was written in the howto.
*  Linuxbox = 192.168.0.1. winbox=192.168.0.2

When I do a "netstat -rn" I get the following output (not connected til ISP):
Kernel IP routing table
Destination     Gateway         Genmask         Flags   MSS Window  irtt Iface
192.168.2.0     *               255.255.255.0   U         0 0          0 eth0
192.168.0.0     *               255.255.255.0   U         0 0          0 eth0
127.0.0.0       *               255.0.0.0       U         0 0          0 lo

The first line I wonder about.  I don't have a network with 192.168.2.0, but 
192.168.0.0 as it says in the second line.

Can I be sure of that the rc.firewall script is really started?  In the 
bootup I can't see any other messages than "Loading the rc.firewall ruleset".

I would like to know where the error might be so I can start looking.  I have 
been pondering about this problem on and off the last 3 weeks.  It would be a 
relief to get it all working.
