/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! /* ALSO: Don't quote this header. It makes you look lame :-) */ Guys Im having some problems with this setup here. I have a linux firewall/proxy. It has two ethernet interfaces. eth0 is local network, and eth1 is to the ADSL router. currently masq is running fine and the local network can use the internet quite well. As I said in another post i need to be able to access a private email server via dialup ppp on interface ppp0. When ipchains isnt running, the local machine can easily access the private mailserver, and since nodefaultroute is set in pppd, i can set the routing table to only use the dialup for just the mailserver. My problem is that when ipchains is running it rejects outgoing packets from the local machine and the local network to ppp0. I presume i need to add 3 more lines to my firewall script, one to allow outgoing packets, one to allow incoming, and one to masq it. I just dont know how to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated as i am no ipchains expert at the moment.
