Hi All,
I apologise if this has already been answered but I
just joined the mailing list and couldn't find an answer in archives found using
google.
Using a Linux 2.x ipchains masquerading firewall I
can use MSN no problem and I can use Netmeeting no problem (when other people
invite me or I connect to there IP directly). But the problem comes when I
invite someone to Netmeeting they never connect back to me.
My guess for this is that MSN sends a packet with
my IP address encoded (The IP address would then be my internal network IP). The
other side of the connection then recieves this request with my internal IP and
tries to connect using this (Obviously won't get to me).
If this is the case is there anybody that knows of
a module to change the IP address in the packet to the firewall IP and then
allow the connection to be forwarded to my internal IP.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
