Hello Everyone, 2.2.x ipchains modules are not compatible with 2.4.x kernels. For this very reason, if you use IPMASQ on a 2.4.x kernel, you need IPTABLES (for things like FTP, etc.). Anyway, there ARE H.323 modules for the 2.4.x kernels. Check it out: http://www.netfilter.org/documentation/pomlist/pom-extra.html#h323-conntrack-nat If there is enough demand for it, I can add this as a FAQ entry to the IPMASQ howto. --David > I got it to work under kernel 2.2.5, it should be the same for kernel >2.4.7... > Get ip_masq_h323.c, compile it and insert it as a module ("insmod >ip_masq_h323")... > Netmeeting should work. > >Shay. > > > >---------------------------------- > > >Hi, > >it doesn't say about getting netmeeting work under >kernel 2.4.7 on the masq page. so i am wondering if >anyone got it work and how ? > >RH7.2 kernel 2.4.7 ,IPtable, IP-masq v2.00.041902, >applying stronger ruleset > >James.Q.L > >_______________________________________________ >Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- >THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! >or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting. >You can start your search at http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ >Please keep general linux/unix/pc/internet questions off the list. .----------------------------------------------------------------------------. | David A.
