Sorry, I am guilty of assuming iptables when it's not specified. The two are very much different. As a matter of fact, I did run a 2.2 kernel at one time, using ipchains, and FreeSWAN, and I had no trouble masquerading traffic over the encrypted tunnel with this scheme. So, both ipchains and iptables should work without trouble. That is, if you set it up correctly. ;) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Fuzzy Fox) || "Good judgment comes from experience. sometimes known as David DeSimone || Experience comes from bad judgment." _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
