Hi Im not completely new to linux, but im new at this part of it. My setyp first so you know what im working with :-) I got a RH8 that is running the masq, right now it is allso running the webserver, but that is only temporarely while i learn all of this, the box is set to the internet. Then i have a few computers on the other netcard sitting behind it anf getting traffic routed to them (just normal machines, for games, work and so on.) I used the normal masq how-to http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO/index.html and it is working as it should. Well now i come top the part i want to learn but fail to find a tutorial or how to about. It says that on this kernel 2.4.x i should use IPTABLES but i cant find a tut on how to do that, anyone got one, im only used to set up nat like in a router (cisco) and would prefer a firewall that is set up the same way, mostly since this seems simple. Anyone who can help me to some good tutorials about how i should setup the firewall, as it is right now, i doubt im running the safest setup, im sure most people can sleep the way through it, but then again, im new at this kind of firewalls :-) Thank you Dennis -- <> _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
