Hi, after some time my winxp client loses connection to the internet.
Client-server and server-internet pinging still works but it seems that
ther server stops routing/masquerading.
The output of "cat /proc/net/ip_conntrack" is quite small, there are 2
connections from the winxp client at all so the client isn't flooding
the server.
Sometimes the problem is solved by using the "repair" function of the
network adapter on the winxp machine, but sometimes only restarting the
server helps.
I'm using Gentoo-Linux with kernel 2.4.20,iptables-1.2.7a and bind as
caching dns server.
Any idea?
