I have installed the stronger rc.firewall example - 2.4.x in my system and activated the settings for http server. It works fine for http, when i used the same settings for port 25 e.g. $IPTABLES -A INPUT -i $EXTIF -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED,RELATED \ -p tcp -s $UNIVERSE -d $EXTIP --dport 25 -j ACCEPT I am not able to receive external e-mail, but possible to send e-mail to the external world. (When i opened the port through webmin firewall setting it's allowing me to receive email from external source, so it's not due to DNS settings). When i tried portscan it shows that port 25 is not open. Can anyone help me with this. I have the same problem with ssh i am not able to connect to my box from external source.
