Did you check to see that the new ICQ is set to:
- be behind a NON-SOCKS firewall
- Timeout of 30 secs
- Ports of 2000-2020
Btw.. I've heard that for some users, ICQ 99 does NOT remember
these settings after a reload. Verify that your settings are
still there.
