Hey, I am unable to receive quicken or quickbooks updates thru my ipmasq
machine. It appears that the transfer is over http or https. I get between
35k and 55k before it stops. Here are the commands in my rc.local
Ipfwadm -F -p deny
Ipftadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
For x in /lib/modules/`uname -r` /ipv4/ip_masq_*: do
/sbin/modprobe `basename $x`
done
I called intuit (the maker of quicken and quickbooks) and they gave me a
https web site to manually download the update and that failed as well. I
have an MS Network Monitor capture of an attempt if anyone would like to see
it. Thanks much for a great service!
