I thought I heard a "zahz" say: > > i was thinking to run 2 modems or LOAD balancing technique on my small > network. This is part of my study case. > I am using RH5.2 wiht 2 modems connected to com1 & com2 respectively. > > Iam hoping someone to help me on this. Thank You > > Bye > Zahari Zianan (Malaya University) Malaysia I'm sending this over to the masq list in case someone there has experience with masq with multiple modem lines. This is not a topic that is appropriate for masq-dev, which is for discussion of the actual masquerading code and implementation of the technology. Please also check out http://www.indyramp.com/eql/ for information about EQL, which does a primitive form of load balancing over multiple serial line connections. EQL has nothing directly to do with masquerading, although you may be able to masquerade behind an eql connection. I haven't tried. (That howto is under development, and suggestions/comments/observations are welcome as I work on revising it.) --Rob -- Robert Novak, Indyramp Consulting * [EMAIL PROTECTED] * indyramp.com/~rnovak "You can't always go by the manuals." -- The Doctor "It's wanting that keeps us alive." -- Paola Franco No lemons were harmed in the composition or transmission of this email message. _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tiffany.indyramp.com/mailman/listinfo/masq Admin requests can be handled by web (above) or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
