[Masq] Diald 0.98?

I ran into diald 0.98beta a while ago.  Is it a legit release?  What's with
the jump from 0.16.x to 0.98?

The reason I ask is that it has additional options like demasq and proxyarp
(which are not compiled in by default, but the code is there).
