I've compiled ipportfw on my box, only to find that I doesn't work under
kernel 2.2.2. I'm currently using redir to allow access to computers
inside my firewall... definitely not so hot for security reasons. Does
anyone know of a newer version than the one I found (1.1.1, last updated
in late 1997). Or is there some other way of accessing this functionality
in kernel 2.2.2? I've found vague references to it in the ipchains howto
and the ipmasquerading mini-howto, but nothing useful, and no programs
that can do it. From what I read, the functionality should be built into
the Kernel... just how do I make it do it?
