Router vs Gateway? It really is a router. Strictly speaking, a
gateway does some translation between foreign protocols, such as
between an ethernet network and SNA, for example. I don't use a dhcp
client on Linux, so I don't know for sure, but I'd suggest taking the
gateway= and gatewaydev= lines out of sysconfig/network.
