I have a masq server at one client site that's a 386/20 with 12 megs
of RAM. It's slow but rock solid.

Can you identify a threshhold -- files bigger than this size crash,
files smaller download OK? Also, is the download problem on the masq
machine itself or other stations on the internal network? If the
problem is on your masq server, what are you running that causes the
crash, ftp from the command line, or Netscape (or similar) from
Xwindows? If you are running X, maybe your machine isn't big enough.

Maybe I've given you a few clues to help solve it. If not, please
post the answers to these few questions, and we'll try again.
