Hi. Got a question here which I can't seem to find an answer to either way regarding game servers. I can play just about any multiplayer game I want from behind my IP Masq gateway without any problem. I only encounter problems when I want to *host* a multiplayer game from inside my network. For example, I want to host an Unreal server on one of the boxes inside my network. The sockets/ports involved aren't used by anything else so I thought I'd pick up IPAUTOFW and simply forward all the needed ports from the gateway to the server. And it worked! But only for the first player who joined. On the server, I see requests coming in to join the server but the players are unable to complete their connection. I can get only one player at a time. As a test, I forwarded port 80 from the gateway (masquerading box) to a webserver I have internally. I found I was only able to hit the webserver with one client at a time. I'm assuming that the gateway is allocating that port to communicate solely between that specific client and the webserver on the inside so only one connection goes through. I'm thinking that this is what is happening with the Unreal server. The first person to log in is monopolizing a port in this manner preventing subsequent logins. Is there any solution to this? Thanks... - Kristofer _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tiffany.indyramp.com/mailman/listinfo/masq Admin requests can be handled by web (above) or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
