Hiya,
I'm running on Suse 5.3 (2.0.35) Linux with Socks5 Release 9 (including
all patches) and IP masquerading installed. Behind that Linuxbox I have a
little subnet with win98 computers: On those win98 machines Icq works fine
for me as well as FTP downloads via socks5, but I can't upload large files
(>10-15MB) neither via socks5 nor via ip masquerading. The connection will
always be cut off after first 5-6MB...
The strange thing is that if I upload via Telnet directly from my Linuxbox
it works without any problems, so the "bug" has to be either within IP
masquerading, within socks5 or between them. Is it possible that ip
masquerading and socks5 "disturb" or interfere with eachother, e. g. with
the tcp or udp ports?
Thanks for your help,
Axel Suppantschitsch
