hi its me again i still havent solved any of the other problems.. such as icq randomly disconnecting, ftp server not working, ident not working i have no discovered more problems first, its not just icq randomly disconnecting.. its everything... it all just goes down for a couple seconds then i can reconnect again, but its very annoying! second, i have discovered that i cant login to any ftp sites through my windows client unless i put the ftp software on pASSIVE mode... but then, i cant upload anything to any sites... it would initiate the upload, transfer a few bytes.. then just halt. some info: running redhat 6 @home cablemodem connected to uplink of hub linux box running ipmasq, plus 2 windows 98 boxes also on the hub linux is setup to ip masq for the 2 windows boxes, firewall is set up according to howto's.. running ip_masq_ftp as well as other neccessary modules. but i still have the above problems, and i dont understand what is causing them or how i can resolve them. please advise. thank you. |e|n|d|t|r|a|n|s|m|i|s|s|i|o|n| E _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tiffany.indyramp.com/mailman/listinfo/masq Admin requests can be handled by web (above) or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
