I've run Masq successfully for a while on a RH5.2 machine, however i rencently upgraded to 6.0 in order to take advantage on the new kernel, new dhcp and just for the sake of it =) After going over the 1.65 HOW-To, i created the rc.firewall file with the appropriate rule set and changed the permissions on it. Now my questions is how do can one cause the file to be executed automatically every time the system is brought up. because as it stands i have to call the execution of the file every time to get it to run. I used to have all the commands in my rc.local which worked perfectly, however when i placed all those commands in my rc.local, my computer would simply hang after after executing all the other sys init files, so i current placed the commands back into the rc.firewall file and execute it at the prompt. So can someone please tell me where (rc.local ?) i should add a line to get my rc.firewall to execute on boot-up ?
