You need to forward ports 135 and 137-139 through your Linux box.
This way, you can connect to the NT Server and can map drives. You
can not, however, browse the Network Neighborhood.
I found that using PPTP to dial into the remote network is much better.
This requires a patch (http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/people/chaffee/linux_pptp.html
or ftp://ftp.rubyriver.com/pub/jhardin/masquerade/ip_masq_vpn.html).
