Has anyone successfully used linuxconf ( the GUI configurator that comes with
RH 6.0) to configure an IP MASQ?

Care to share your tricks?

I can make masq work but it involves manual configuration. If we let LINUXCONF
do all the work, masq stops working. Specifically, the private network can
see the public interface on the server, but not the Internet. The server can
see the internet. BTW, we are using one network card with public & private IPs
bound to it.

We're trying to stick with LINUXCONF for ease of field support. I'm sure
purist will bash this notion, but if there is a way to implement it, I'd like
to do so, even if it means using an alternate to LINUXCONF (we use SWAT to
configure SAMBA for instance)
