/* HINT: Search archives @ http://www.indyramp.com/masq/ before posting! */ I have been successfully using diald and IP Masquerade for years to pass traffic on my internal LAN to the Internet. I am running Linux 2.0.36. I am currently trying to set my server up so that the LAN can access battle.net. I have installed the subs-patch-1.37 (ipportfw) and the loose-udp-2_0_36_patch. I can access the battle.net servers. I didn't have to issue any additional ipfwadm or any ipportfw commands after applying the loose-udp-patch. I compiled Linux with experimental=yes and ipportfw=yes and ipautofw=no. My problems now are: 1) If I join a game with more than one other player the game is extremely slow. If all but one player and myself leave, the game is fine. Likewise, if I drop out of the game it speeds up for the other players. 2) When I join a game only the game host can see my messages. This happens both before and after the start of the game. 3) If I host a game, no one can join. All other parts of battle.net seem to working correctly, although I have not checked all battle.net features. I have looked at many HOWTOs to try to resolve these problems. /etc/ppp/options is: asyncmap 0 mtu 1500 mru 1500 Does anyone have a clue about solving any one or all three of these problems? Thanks, Bill P.S. I am not running the FSGS on my server. _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
