From what I remember installing the cable modems
here in california. One the badwith is limited by the ISP as well as the
cable company. Also you have to remember that cable modems are on a toke
and ring network so the more people that get on it the slower it will get.
May want to call the cable company and ask them what the initial badwith is and
then have them open it up for your aplication. (If possible. This is
what I had to do) . Hope this helps out
