        That's unclear.  If they go with the 2.4.x kernel series, they'll
have the option of using iptables.  The nice thing about iptables is that
it has backwards compatibility modules for both ipfwadm and ipchains.
        That decision will need to be made based on whether 2.4.x is out
and stable by the time they release rh 6.1.  Neither release date is clear
at this point.
        They will be including Mason (see sig) in the powertools CD for
it.  Mason already supports building firewalls under ipfwadm and ipchains,
and will support iptables natively by that point as well.
        If you choose to go with native iptables, you can convert an
existing firewall to it using ipchains2iptables (under development; _very_
early release at ftp://slartibartfast.pa.net/pub/i2i/).
