I'm trying to build my firewall but I cna't figure out a couple things.

The main one i'm stuck on right now is getting the dynipclient program to work.
(www.dynip.com if you're curious about it).

anyways, on to my problem.

I'm playing with both the ipchains firewall listed in the TrinityOS doc
and also the one from Rob Ziegler's firewall design tool.

I like the one in from the firewall design tool better as I find it easier
to follow.

The dynipclient works with the TiniityOS one but not with the design tool one
and I can't figure out what's different.

If I do a tcpdump on the interface when running the client I get:
20:06:12.120324 > viking.1532 > discovery.dynip.com.domain: 4096 zoneRef NoChange*|
[768q] 32769/15355/0 (20)

Looks like I need the domain port (53) configured but I don't currently
have any accept's for that in the trinity firewall so I don't know how it's
working.

Can anyone point me as what i'm missing?

thanks,
Bill
