When you have an ftp client active, you should be able to do "lsmod" and
see that the "Used" count goes up by one.  When the client closes its
connection, the count should go down again.  Does it?

The ip_masq_ftp module only works with ftp servers that operate on port
21.  If the server uses a nonstandard port, you will have to tell the
module about it, using the "ports=" option.
